Scenes from the 2024 Brooklyn Pride parade
Drag queens, motorcyclists, cheerleaders, kids, librarians and lovers turned out for the 28th annual event
The 28th annual Brooklyn Pride Parade and Festival joyfully boogied down Fifth Avenue in Park Slope Saturday.
The day got its engine revving with The Sirens, an all-woman motorcycle club, and featured marchers including the Brooklyn Library Drag Queen Story Hour, the Gotham Cheer squad, representatives from P.S., lots of love, lovers, music and dancing.
Dubbed ‘Pride: All Day, Every Day,’ an estimated 30,000 people — and glorious weather — turned out for the all-afternoon event, according to organizers.
Here are a few highlights of the day.
