Halloween is fast approaching! This weekend you can sip prime mezcal at Bowl of ‘Zole, pick pumpkins at Brooklyn Bridge Park, party at the cemetery with Poorstacy, and more.

Friday, October 22
Faure: Requiem
6 to 8:30 p.m.
Death of Classical brings Faure’s haunting “Requiem” to Green-wood Cemetery with a 10-piece orchestra and 35-person choir. This candlelit performance will open with an hourlong whiskey tasting supplied by Appalachian Gap Distillery, Ume Plum Liquor, and Flying Embers hard kombucha and seltzer. Baby’s Presents: Loose Buttons
7 p.m.
New York rockers Loose Buttons return to Baby’s All Right to celebrate the release of their upcoming second album “What’s On Outside” (produced by Hop Along’s Joe Reinhart). This show marks their first live appearance since their February 2020 sold-out debut album release concert. Tickets start at $15

Enchanted Sound Bath
10 to 11 a.m.
This Saturday, sound work practitioner Nicole Motter brings her Halloween-infused good vibrations to the North Williamsburg Pier. Grab a blanket or yoga mat and sink into deep relaxation. Tickets are $25
Harvest Festival
11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Celebrate the season at the Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy’s annual Harvest Festival. NYC brass band Hudson Horns will kick-off the day on Pier 6, Brooklyn Contra Dance will lead a performance and contra-style dance class at 12, and DJ Likwuid will close out with a dance party. This family-friendly festival features arts and crafts, storytelling, lawn games, magicians, a pumpkin decoration station, and more! Free and open to the public.
Mika Record Fair
12 to 5 p.m.
Browse 30,000+ records from 30 vinyl dealers at Mika’s free record fair in Bushwick. Mika will supply the beer, wine, and sake, and Alex from Queens, Nadine Regne, Jeremiah, DJ Veep Reeking, and Damien will bring the party. Guests can purchase a $3 ticket for early entry between 11-12
Bushwick Film Festival Live Screenings
12 to 11:30 p.m.
The 14th Annual Bushwick Film Festival returns to theaters this year with a full day of live screenings at Regal Cinema. A $50 day pass gives you access to the entire Saturday lineup. Head over to Circa Brewing Co. after the show for their daylong happy hour (a special deal for festival goers!)
Bowl of ‘Zole 2021

Sample ten takes on pozole and over fifty expressions of mezcal at the second ever Brooklyn Pozole Festival. FRANK: A Night of Rocky Horror at 3 Dollar Bill

New York Back From The Dead Fest
