Pete Davidson is threatening to move to Brooklyn
'I love Staten Island, but it takes too long to get over the bridge,' the 'SNL' star told a reporter
Like any typical restless twenty-something-year-old, the “King of Staten Island” is considering making the move to Brooklyn.
“Saturday Night Live” star Pete Davidson let it slip in a new interview that he’s “very excited” to move to the borough. “I love Staten Island, but it takes too long to get over the bridge,” he told NBCLX reporter Tabitha Lipkin. (Brooklyn, of course, has zero bridges that take too long to cross.)
@tabithalipkin If your man doesn’t have a candle with your face on it in interviews, does he even care? 😂 #petedavidson #kimkardashian #fyp @nbclx ♬ original sound – Tabitha
In recent months, Davidson has gotten cozy with purported girlfriend Kim Kardashian and shown her all around Staten Island. He even made it a point to move a candle with her face on it into view during the interview, from in, his words, “disgusting” apartment.
Fortunately for Davidson, there are a lot of viable options for a 28-year-old lucky enough to afford a house in Brooklyn in this economy! If he is indeed avoiding bridges, for example, he might consider looking into Gowanus, since it’s near a tunnel, is artfully grungy and he can probably afford the tolls. Or perhaps Bay Ridge, which overlooks Staten Island and is a quick trip to JFK for those weekly trips to Kardashian’s Calabasas compound. Williamsburg is also an option since he can take the M nonstop to 30 Rock.
Wherever he lands, keep an eye out for Kim and Pete on the other Fifth Avenue.
