Watch the trailer for ‘Out of Order,’ New York Nico’s directorial debut
Every New Yorker can relate to the premise of the short film, which will debut at Tribeca Film Festival June 11
Nicolas Heller, better known on Instagram as New York Nico, “the unofficial talent scout of New York City,” is becoming more official by the day.
On Tuesday, he released the trailer for “Out of Order,” a short film that marks his directorial debut. According to a release, the film is about a 30-year-old man, played by Kareem Rahma, whose digestive system “turns on him as he races to find an ever-elusive bathroom on the streets of New York City.” We’ve all been there.
It starts a slew of other New York-famous celebs, like “Bing Bong” originator “Gorilla Nems,” street golfer Tiger Hood and Wayne Diamond from “Uncut Gems.” Rahma wrote the screenplay.
The film is making its premiere Saturday, June 11 at 7:30 pm at a Tribeca Film Festival event. Not too shabby for a first-timer. Watch the trailer below.
