‘Crazy Rich Asians,’ ‘Jurassic Park’ among Brooklyn Bridge Park’s free summer movies
Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy's Movies with a View kicks off July 7 and runs on Thursday evenings through August
There’s no perhaps better view of the city than at Brooklyn Bridge Park. And now you can enjoy it augmented with a movie screen with the return of “Movies with a View.”
Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy has announced the lineup of its free series that runs on Thursday evenings in July and August. The theme is “Away We Go,” with eight movies mostly set in exotic and eye-appealing locales.
A Smorgasburg-curated food court, along with music, begins at 5 p.m. nearby Pier 1 Harbor View Lawn with the screenings starting around 8:30 p.m. at sunset. Organizers recommend getting there at 6 p.m. when the lawn opens to get the best spot. Unfortunately, alcohol from the outside world is prohibited and there’s a bag check to “ensure the safety and security of moviegoers.”
