The Williamsburg Knitting Factory has announced the lineup for its final show
The Sunday show, dubbed "Goodbye, Knitting Factory Brooklyn," will feature Hannibal Buress, Quelle Chris, Roofeeo and surprise guests
The Knitting Factory in Williamsburg is closing down on Sunday and it has announced its final show.
The appropriately titled “Goodbye, Knitting Factory Brooklyn” show features Hannibal Buress (and his alter ego Eshu Tune) Quelle Chris, Roofeeo, Marilee, plus “some surprises.” However, tickets for the $35 show have already sold out.
Buress and the Knitting Factory “will forever be intertwined,” the location wrote on Facebook, a nod to the free comedy nights he used to host at the space. “Thank you, friend! We love you!,” it added.

The Knitting Factory has been a beloved indie music venue since moving from Manhattan to Brooklyn in 2009. In June, the facility announced it was closing, announcing that “it is time for the Knit to (once again) reinvent itself.”
However, it’s more of a “see you later” rather than a “goodbye forever.” Knitting Factory Entertainment, which owns it, recently told Brooklyn Magazine that it’s planning to open a new space somewhere in New York City, although an exact detail hasn’t yet been revealed.
“The vibe is going to be similar, you know, open to all. Capacity is going to be similar [around 300],” CEO Morgan Margolis said. “It’s going to be a little different in that it’s going to be more of a neighborhood bar … we’re partnering up, so it’s not just going to be Knitting Factory.”
