These are the 49 Brooklyn restaurants participating in restaurant week
The 2022 winter edition of NYC Restaurant Week actually lasts a month. Here are the participating Brooklyn eateries—bon appétit!
It’s January and arguably the best way to deal with the drumbeat of dismal news (and freezing cold) is to shovel piles of food in your mouth. Thankfully, NYC Restaurant Week begins next week and nearly 50 Brooklyn restaurants are participating in it.
As it did in the summer, the “week” actually lasts a month: from January 18 to February 13 (notably ending a day before Valentine’s Day.) Participating restaurants offer a two-course lunch for $29 and a three-course dinner for $39. Some places also sell a pricier $59 dinner if you want to splurge.
Bringing people in to these establishments comes at a crucial time as the Omicron variant of Covid-19 appears to have reached ts peak, posing staffing problems and scaring people away from indoor dining. OpenTable data shows that reservations in New York state are down around 70 percent compared to January 2019.
From Carrol Gardens to Williamsburg 49 Brooklyn restaurants are participating. That’s about the same amount that took part last summer, and is way, way more than the nine Brooklyn restaurants that participated in the city’s 2019 Restaurant Week.
Notable places include Middle Eastern favorite Tanoreen in Bay Ridge, the always trendy Cecconi’s in Dumbo and yummy Chinese restaurant Han Dynasty in Downtown Brooklyn.
