Williamsburg Condo Features Outdoor Spaces, Penthouse Views and Rooftop Gym
Sponsored By 308 N7. This boutique building in Williamsburg offers spacious residences, thoughtful amenities and a 15-year 421-a tax abatement.
On the site of a former soap factory, sales have launched at 308 North 7th Street, a luxury condo building in the heart of Williamsburg. The nine-floor building, developed by Adam America, was designed by Isaac & Stern Architects.
To reflect the neighborhood’s industrial past, the firm used distressed brick on a stepped facade, then embellished it with a herringbone pattern and capped the building with metal panels on the upper floors. The effect is one of raw and austere elegance.
The 45 residences include three penthouses and three garden-level homes, and one- to three-bedroom condos, ranging from 666 square feet to 1,529 square feet. Twenty-nine of the residences will feature private outdoor space.
Interiors were designed by Paris Forino (other projects include Gem Hotel in Chelsea and Steiner East Village) and feature intricately designed stone and wood patterns and textures.
In the kitchens, Forino fitted a modern Arabescato Corchia marble countertop with more traditional copper pot rails and faucet fixtures. The bathrooms echo the exterior facade’s herringbone pattern, with natural stone countertops.
There are plenty of amenities. They include a children’s playroom, bike room, landscaped garden, attended lobby, and 23 indoor parking spots.
Every resident will have access to a penthouse view on the top floor, where there’s a fitness room with an outdoor extension, and a large terrace equipped for barbecuing. Private cabanas are available for purchase.
The building is located a quick walk from the L, G and M trains. Greenery can be found at McCarren Park and East River State Park. The neighborhood is also home to choice culinary destinations, such as Michelin-starred steakhouse Peter Luger, and Egg, a Williamsburg favorite that serves up a farm-to-table breakfast.
Nearby nightlife venues include Union Pool around the corner. Wine bars St. Anselm and Brooklyn Winery are close by, and Smorgasburg in East River State Park makes for a nice jaunt.
Prices will start at $840,000, and buyers will benefit from a 15-year tax abatement. The Shemesh Team at Douglas Elliman Real Estate is handling the sales and marketing.
The sales gallery, which is located in the building, features a fully outfitted model residence. For more information or to schedule an appointment, please contact the sales team 718-388-3778 or visit 308n7.com.
