‘Tis the year to holiday shop locally

It would be an understatement to say local businesses have been brutalized by this year. So as you plan your holiday gift giving, if you’ve got the budget, consider shopping local.

Brooklyn holiday markets are open for business and this weekend can’t come soon enough (for more reasons than one). For many small businesses this holiday season could be make-or-break.

Here’s a most-likely-incomplete roundup of where you can hit the pavement for stocking stuffers or goodies to scatter ’round the Hanukkah bush:
