Brooklyn Tweets of the Week: Farewell to DMX, hello Hot NYC Summer

The week ended on surprising (and perhaps unsurprisingly confusing) announcement by Mayor Bill de Blasio that the city will fully reopen on July 1. Not to be outdone, Gov. Andrew Cuomo retorted that he’d like to see it happen even sooner! (And then in the next breath: it’s too hard to make predictions.)

That was just the end of the week. Brooklyn kicked things off last Saturday with an epic, iconic farewell to rapper DMX that included motorcycles, monster trucks and (as you’ll see below) one hell of a cold-blooded tribute.
