Brooklyn Tweets of the Week: Borough heroes with baguettes, free rides, and roller skates
Not all heroes wear capes. A roundup of (some of) our favorite locally sourced tweets for the week ending July 30.
Not all heroes wear capes. Some rock a pink cowboy hat.
This week we are singing the praises of Brooklyn’s actual finest, in tweets: There’s the carb0-loaded firefighter in Williamsburg, for example. And there’s the bodega guy whose hospitality extends beyond his door. And the lady who gave away her flame-emblazoned roller skates in Bushwick.
If you see something, say something: Be sure to tag us if you see anything that should be noted next week. Have a great weekend! Maybe we’ll see you out and about.

Bushwick is wild, I complimented some girl on her pink cowboy hat, which led to her giving me a pair of rollerskates with flames on them, and now I’m skating home pic.twitter.com/p412c5gzzh
