Brooklyn Tweets of the Week: Biden versus birds, and an epic harvest moon
A roundup of (some of) our favorite locally sourced tweets for the week ending September 24
There was something in the air this week. At least on Twitter there was no shortage of unusual sightings. President Biden may or may not have been tailing some ospreys in Red Hook. Our tweeters also spotted top-notch toilet art in Greenpoint, a littered plastic cup with a considerate paper straw, and an epic harvest moon in Williamsburg.
If you see something, say something: Be sure to tag us if you see anything that should be noted next week. Have a great weekend, and don’t miss the New York Film Festival!
I think Marine 1 and a bunch of Ospreys just flew past this bar I’m at in Red Hook? Is Biden trying to watch Hokies-Mountaineers

I am hearing live ranchero music in Crown Heights. Yesterday people were blasting soca. What can I say? Love this world despite itself. Music is life.

It brings me no joy to tell you that shortly after Willy was freed, he got caught in a fence in Bushwick and perished. pic.twitter.com/Z8kSPGYGcU

Recanting everything I’ve said about the FSG marketing department because I walked by the Sally Rooney coffee cart in Fort Greene and randomly won a tote bag in a “trivia contest”! So fun!!! Still haven’t read the book though

it’s so funny how un-hip williamsburg is now. it looks like the planned downtown “hip neighborhood” of some city in ohio. just needs a useless streetcar
