Rihanna is opening a Savage x Fenty lingerie store in Brooklyn
She might not be releasing an album, but she's still at work, work, work, work, work, work
Rihanna has found love in Brooklyn, where she’s opening the city’s first-ever free standing Savage x Fenty store later this year.
Her risqué lingerie brand said “you da one” to 182 Flatbush Avenue, the triangle-shaped building that’s near Barclays Center and Atlantic Terminal Mall in Park Slope.
Brooklynites might recognize the space, which has fallen into disrepair in recent years after a planned renovation didn’t materialize. It formerly housed Triangle Sports and has been vacant for about a decade.
Clocking in at 6,100 square feet, the building will be Savage x Fenty’s largest store yet. The brand opened its first physical storefront earlier this year in Las Vegas with plans to open about five more across the United States.
The stores’ designs, according to Vogue, have a “radiating color palette” of fuchsia, emerald, and sapphire and proudly display the brand’s body-inclusive lingerie.
Keep your eyes peeled for the superstar herself. She recently surprised shoppers at the grand opening for its brand’s new store in Los Angeles location a few weeks ago. She might not be releasing an album, but at least she’s at, well, you know.
