Amy Schumer has reportedly purchased the ‘Moonstruck’ house

Even more of the Schumer family is taking up residence in Brooklyn.
Comedian Amy Schumer has reportedly bought the famous Brooklyn Heights brick home seen in the 1987 film “Moonstruck.” The five-bedroom house, located at 19 Cranberry St., was last listed for $11 million.
The New York Post reported that she “been touring multiple Brooklyn Heights townhouses” in recent weeks, and settled on this one. The listing on Corcorcan’s website says it’s “in contract,” and the realtors did not return a request for comment.
Built in 1829, the house became recognizable when the exterior of the house was featured in Oscar-winning flick starring Cher. The house has been “magnificently restored and renewed,” according to the listing. The home boasts new windows that fit its historical period, a brand new roof, refreshed marble fireplaces and an updated kitchen and two laundry rooms perfect for the staff.
The house has changed hands quite a few times in its history. The current sellers bought it for nearly $4 million in 2007, which was “100 times” more than the sellers had paid for when they bought it in 1961, according to the New York Times.
But here are a few photos from their listing of the property:
