Join Brooklyn Magazine for a dinner party on October 30
Mingle with Brooklyn Magazine staff and readers at cozy Nura — plus, enjoy a 'mortality mixer' ahead of the meal
We’re having a dinner party and you’re invited!
Join Brooklyn Magazine as we kick off a four-part dinner series on October 30, hosted at cozy Nura in Greenpoint.
Mingle with the team at Brooklyn Magazine as we celebrate the best of Brooklyn and the start of autumn with an intimate dinner connecting local creators and influencers with our readers. We’ll be hosting an exclusive, seasonal family-style menu curated by Nura head chef Jackie Carnesi, paired with a specialty cocktail mixed by Nura. Wine and other cocktails will be available à la carte.
The evening will include programming inspired by Brooklyn Magazine’s annual 50 Most Fascinating People list: Ahead of the meal Gabrielle Gatto, a death doula and Green-Wood Cemetery’s public programs coordinator, will lead a “mortality mixer” and mini “death cafe” to broach the last taboo with a little levity. Perfect for spooky season.
Plus, Johnny Cirillo of Watching New York will also be on hand to mingle and capture the mood, so dress to impress both the living and the dead.
